Congratulations to Lunsford and Jeffers

The Local No. 75 Apprenticeship Program is a three year program that includes 144 hours of school training per year, as well as, 1350 on-the- job training hours per year. School training includes classroom instruction where apprentices learn how to calculate project statistics, project scheduling, material ordering, staging a project and anticipation of unique

circumstances of a project. They also learn about the importance of good and clear communication with the customer, inspectors and consultants that might be involved with the project. School training is made up of hands-on training and experience with working with all types of roofing materials.

Every Apprentice completing the program will have an OSHA 10 Hour Training Certificate, Torch-Down (CERTA) certified training, and rigging and signaling training. They will also hold a current Drug and Alcohol Free Test Card and will have received their Drug and Alcohol Free Safety Training in conjunction with the Ohio

Bureau of Workers Compensation Drug and Alcohol Free Safety Program.

The Journeymen Test that Aaron and Charles completed has both a written and hands- on portion. Both must be successfully completed. These individuals will receive their Certificate of Completion from the Ohio Apprenticeship Council and the Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training, Department of Labor.

In addition, Charles Lunsford has won first place in the Regional Apprentice Contest for the last 3 years.
